How to install IPTV Harmony on Samsung Smart TV
Samsung Smart TVs run Tizen, so you install an IPTV player from the Samsung app store and connect it to your IPTV Harmony subscription. The common players link your login by the TV's MAC address on the developer's website. Allow about 10 minutes.
Step-by-step setup
You need your IPTV Harmony login from the welcome email and about 10 minutes. Login type on this device: Playlist added on the player's website (MAC address).
Step 1: Install the player
Press Home, open Apps, select the search icon and type the player's name. Select Install, then Open.
Step 2: Note the MAC address and key
When the player opens it shows a MAC address (and for some apps a device key). Write both down or take a photo.
Step 3: Send them to us or add the playlist yourself
Send the MAC address to our support team and we add your playlist for you. Or open the player's official website on a phone or computer, enter the MAC address and key, and paste the M3U link from your welcome email.
Step 4: Restart the player
Close the app fully (hold Back), then open it again. Your channels load from the playlist you added.
Step 5: Check the guide
Open a channel and press the Info or Guide button to confirm the programme guide is showing.
If something doesn't work
Most problems come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues we see most on Samsung Smart TV.
The player is not in the app store
Availability depends on the TV model and country. Try a different player from the list, or use a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box on the HDMI port.
“Playlist not found” after adding it
Check that the MAC address was entered exactly, then restart the TV by unplugging it for 30 seconds.
Tips for Samsung Smart TV
- Third-party player fees go to the app developer, not to us.
- Keep the TV's software up to date under Settings → Support → Software update.
IPTV Harmony on Samsung Smart TV: questions
Which Samsung TVs are supported?
Most Samsung Smart TVs from roughly 2017 onwards can install the players listed here. Older models may not have them in the app store; an external streaming stick is the simplest solution.
Why do I have to pay for the player app?
Some TV players are paid apps made by independent developers. The fee is set and collected by them and is separate from your subscription.
