How to install IPTV Harmony on MAG box
MAG boxes don't use apps. They connect to a portal address linked to the box's MAC address. Send us the MAC address printed under your MAG box, and we register it to your IPTV Harmony subscription and send you the portal address. Entering it takes about 6 minutes.
Step-by-step setup
You need your IPTV Harmony login from the welcome email and about 6 minutes. Login type on this device: MAC portal (no username or password).
Step 1: Send us the MAC address
Find the MAC address on the sticker under the box (it starts with 00:1A:79). Send it to support or add it in the order notes at checkout.
Step 2: Open the portal settings
On the MAG home screen, open Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.
Step 3: Enter the portal
Type a name such as “Harmony” in Portal 1 name, and the portal address we send you in Portal 1 URL. Keep http:// and the slash at the end.
Step 4: Save and restart
Press OK to save, go back to the settings menu and choose Restart portal.
Step 5: Wait for the channel list
The portal loads your channels and guide. The first load can take a minute.
If something doesn't work
Most problems come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues we see most on MAG box.
“STB blocked” or “MAC not registered”
The MAC address we registered doesn't match the box. Check the sticker again and send us a photo of it.
The portal loads forever
Check the URL character by character, including the slash at the end, then restart the box.
Tips for MAG box
- MAG boxes are reliable on Ethernet. Use a cable if possible.
- When you replace a MAG box, send us the new MAC address so we can move your subscription.

Do I need a username and password on a MAG box?
No. A MAG box signs in with its MAC address, which we link to your subscription. You only enter the portal address.
Can I move my subscription to another MAG box?
Yes. Send us the new box's MAC address and we update it.
