What is an EPG?
An EPG, or electronic programme guide, is the TV schedule inside your player: what's on now, what's next, and what's on later. It makes IPTV feel like regular TV, because you browse by programme rather than by channel name. With IPTV Harmony, the guide is available on channels that publish schedule data.
What is catch-up?
Catch-up lets you go back and watch a programme that has already aired, straight from the guide. Catch-up on supported channels. How far back you can go depends on the channel. Supported channels are usually marked with a small clock or rewind icon in the player.
How do you load the guide?
TiviMate and IPTV Smarters
With an Xtream Codes login, the guide loads automatically. Give it a minute or two the first time. In TiviMate, go to Settings → EPG to see when it last updated or to update it by hand.
MAG and Formuler boxes
The portal provides the guide. On Formuler, open MyTVOnline settings → EPG and choose Update EPG if it is empty.
TV players and VLC
Players that use an M3U playlist sometimes need a separate EPG link. Ask our team if your guide stays empty. VLC doesn't show a programme guide.
How do you use catch-up?
In TiviMate, open the guide, scroll back in time on a channel with the catch-up icon and select the programme. In IPTV Smarters, use the Catch Up section. On MAG boxes, catch-up appears in the guide on supported channels. Some players need catch-up turned on in their settings, or a premium unlock.
Why are the guide times wrong?
The player usually uses the device's time zone. Check that the date, time and time zone on your TV or box are set automatically. If the guide is shifted by a fixed number of hours, most players have a "time offset" or "EPG shift" setting to correct it.
Why is the guide empty for some channels?
Some channels don't publish schedule data, so they have no guide. If a channel that normally shows a guide is suddenly empty, update the EPG in your player. If it stays empty for a day, tell support the channel name.
