How to install IPTV Harmony on Mac

On a Mac, the quickest way to watch IPTV Harmony is VLC with your M3U link. For a full programme guide and favourites, install a Mac IPTV player such as IPTVX from the App Store and add your Xtream Codes login. Either way takes about 6 minutes.

Step-by-step setup

You need your IPTV Harmony login from the welcome email and about 6 minutes. Login type on this device: M3U link (VLC) or Xtream Codes (IPTV apps).

  1. Step 1: Install VLC

Download VLC for macOS from videolan.org, open the file and drag VLC to Applications.

  2. Step 2: Allow the app to open

The first time you open VLC, macOS may ask you to confirm. Select Open.

  3. Step 3: Open your playlist

Choose File → Open Network, paste the M3U link from your welcome email and select Open.

  4. Step 4: Or set up an IPTV app

Install IPTVX (or another player) from the Mac App Store, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes, and enter your details.

  5. Step 5: Use full screen

Press Cmd + Ctrl + F, or the green button in the window, for full screen.

If something doesn't work

Most problems come from a mistyped login, an outdated app or a weak network connection. These are the issues we see most on Mac.

macOS says VLC can't be opened

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and select Open Anyway next to the VLC message.

The playlist opens but channels don't play

Check your login hasn't expired and that only the number of connections you bought are playing at once.

Tips for Mac

  • AirPlay from the Mac's Control Center can send the picture to an Apple TV.
  • Close other streaming tabs; they compete for bandwidth.
