What is a connection?
A connection lets one device play IPTV Harmony at a time. With two connections, two screens can watch at once, for example the living-room TV and a tablet. You can install the app on as many devices as you like. The connection count only limits how many play at the same moment. Plans offer 1 to 5 connections.
How do I count what I need?
Think about the busiest moment of a normal week, not about how many devices you own. Count the screens that might play at the same time during that moment, such as a match in the living room while someone else watches a series in the bedroom.
Examples by household
| Household | Typical busiest moment | Connections |
|---|---|---|
| Living alone | One TV, sometimes a phone instead | 1 |
| Couple | Two people watching different things | 2 |
| Family with one child | Living room plus a bedroom TV | 2–3 |
| Family with teenagers | Three or four rooms in the evening | 3–4 |
| Large or shared home | Several rooms at once | 4–5 |
What does each option cost?
On the 12 months plan: 1 connection is $69, 2 are $109, 3 are $139, 4 are $169 and 5 are $199. Every plan and screen count is listed on the plans page.
Does my internet speed limit the number of screens?
Yes. Each playing screen needs its own share of bandwidth: about 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. A 50 Mbps connection comfortably handles two or three HD screens, provided nothing else heavy, like a large download, runs at the same time.
What happens if I go over the limit?
The extra device shows a message such as "maximum connections reached" and won't play. Stop playback on a device you're not watching, wait a minute, and try again. Sharing a login beyond the purchased connections can lead to the account being suspended.
Can I change later?
Yes. If you find you need more screens, contact support with your order ID and we'll explain the options before anything is charged.
